Patti Page has released more than 100 albums and 160 singles in a career that has spanned more than five decades. With three gold albums and 15 gold singles, she clearly earned the title, “The Singing Rage.” Among her hits are “Old Cape Cod”, “Allegheny Moon” and “Doggie in the Window.” Her biggest hit, “Tennessee Waltz”, sold over 10 million copies and is the largest selling single by a female artist.
With more than 100 million record sales to date, Patti Page is still the all-time best-selling female vocalist. Since the 1960's, Page has made Nashville her recording base and leaned more and more on her Oklahoma roots.
In 1980, she was honored with prestigious Pioneer Award from the Academy of Country Music for her major contributions as the first artist to perfect the multiple voice technique as well as the first major crossover artist to popularize country music to the general public.
