 With a voice like razor wrapped in barbed wire, Ronnie Dunn has spent the last decade going to the core of every major emotion -- and doing it with a fire that pays claim to his formative years in the heart of Tulsa's honky tonk scene and the fringes of the Shelter Records reality.
As half of 4-time Entertainers of the Year Brooks & Dunn, the long-legged songwriter has bulked up, revved up, and popped the limits on what American music can mean. The two-time BMI Songwriter of the Year's songs have defined country music at the turn of the century -- offering such classics as "Boot Scootin' Boogie," "Hard Workin' Man," "Brand New Man," "Neon Moon," & the new classic "Red Dirt Road."
Their hard-charging live shows have also built upon the crucible of Oklahoma's famed dance halls -- bringing a strong sense of musical commitment to the road. With their Neon Circus & Wild West Show, Brooks & Dunn have set a standard of sending the people home smiling, feeling better about being lost, found or otherwise engaged in the process.
